I loved the look of this bamboo and lacquer vase from a town in Northern Vietnam and just had to have it for our corporate work.   This week I got the first opportunity to use the vase; and here share the result with you.    A lovely feature of the vase is that the reverse side is a very different pattern in the same colours.  The vase was made in a factory that employes workers with disability; to give them a chance at a meaningful product life.

Flowers in the arrangement are green standard Chrysanthemum,  red Telopea (waratah) pink Hippeastrum, and red Alstromeria.
